3-step application process

Prospective student or postdoc? Please follow the 3 quick steps below - note I will not reply to direct email inquiries from prospective students or postdocs.

STEP 1. Are we a good match? If you are interested in our research topics, that is an excellent start. Do you also fulfill the requirements below?

  • BSc, MSc, PhD: you have a CGPA of 3.4 or higher. Having experience with experimental testing, structural analysis or other technical skills required for our research projects is an asset. Conference and journal publications are a plus.

  • Postdoc: you have published at least two refereed papers in top-tier structural engineering journals edited by ASCE, Elsevier, SAGE, Wiley, Canadian Science Publishing or Taylor and Francis. If you worked with any of my present or past collaborators, please indicate that in STEP 3.

STEP 2. Review the following scholarship opportunities - (this is just a small selection) self-funded students maximize their chances to be selected.

a) you are a Canadian citizen or a McGill student? b) you have a CGPA of 3.8 or higher but do not qualify for any of the scholarships below? Then go directly to STEP 3.

STEP 3. Submit the form below - if all the above is ok, please get in touch!

Checklist (if none of the options below apply, this means we are not a good match)

Thanks for submitting - I have received your application and will contact you by email soon if we are a good match! If you do not hear back in 3 business days, this means I have determined we are not a good fit - this does not mean you are not an exceptional candidate! Please do not send me emails about your submission if you do not receive a feedback.
